This calendar collects the occasions that can matter in 2027 for creators living in Germany, Austria or Switzerland: public holidays, carnival, awareness days and seasons. At the end you will find a table of latest shoot dates and a planning template. We calculated the dates ourselves and cross-checked them. Where something is uncertain, there is a note. Which tax deadlines apply to you is best checked with your tax office or a tax adviser in Germany, Austria or Switzerland (for Germany, see for example 56); add them to your calendar too.
When should you produce seasonal content?
Three to six weeks before the occasion. That is an experience value that agencies name consistently; it is not proven. The reason is practical: you need time for outfits, filming, editing and teasers on other platforms, and fans should see the occasion on your page a few days ahead.
The easiest way is to plan seasonal content into your normal shoot days. How to build one shoot day for several weeks is in One shoot day for four weeks of content.
Do holidays really bring more revenue on OnlyFans?
Nobody knows for sure, because there is no independent data. Agencies name Valentine's Day as the strongest spending period 7; one agency considers Halloween the best content event of the year and summer weaker 8. They provide no evidence.
A more honest way to think about it: occasions give you a reason to show something new, and fans a reason to drop by again. Whether they buy more from you shows in your own statistics. After every occasion, compare with the weeks before and note the result in your calendar. After a year you will have your own data, which is worth more than any agency claim.
Which dates matter in 2027? Month by month
Abbreviations for the German states: BW Baden-Württemberg, BY Bavaria, BE Berlin, BB Brandenburg, HB Bremen, HH Hamburg, HE Hesse, MV Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, NI Lower Saxony, NW North Rhine-Westphalia, RP Rhineland-Palatinate, SL Saarland, SN Saxony, ST Saxony-Anhalt, SH Schleswig-Holstein, TH Thuringia. In Switzerland, the cantons set most holidays themselves; only 1 August is fixed nationally 412. In Austria, public holidays are set by federal law 3.
January
- Fri 1 Jan: New Year's Day (DE, AT, CH)
- Sat 2 Jan: Berchtold's Day (CH, in many cantons)
- Wed 6 Jan: Epiphany (DE: BW, BY, ST; AT; CH: some Catholic cantons)
- All month: New Year's resolutions, "Dry January". Fits fitness and lifestyle niches.
Content idea: a look back and a look ahead, "What to expect from me in 2027". Film January content in December 2026.
February
- Thu 4 Feb: Weiberfastnacht, Mon 8 Feb: Rose Monday, Tue 9 Feb: Shrove Tuesday, Wed 10 Feb: Ash Wednesday. Not public holidays, but in the carnival strongholds along the Rhine many people take time off.
- Lucerne Fasnacht (CH) from Thursday 4 Feb to Tuesday 9 Feb
- Basel Fasnacht (CH) from Mon 15 Feb (Morgestraich at 4 am) to Thu 18 Feb at 4 am
- Sun 14 Feb: Valentine's Day (DE, AT, CH)
Content idea: costume looks, "Valentine's Day alone or as a couple". For costumes: no brand logos, and never characters or outfits that look underage. Photos at parades almost always show other people, so better keep them out of shot 9.
March
- Mon 8 Mar: International Women's Day (public holiday in BE and MV)
- Fri 19 Mar: St Joseph's Day (CH: some cantons)
- Fri 26 Mar: Good Friday (DE all states; CH most cantons; AT not a general holiday)
- Sun 28 Mar: Easter Sunday, with the switch to summer time the night before
- Mon 29 Mar: Easter Monday (DE, AT; CH most cantons)
Content idea: spring looks, Easter motifs with a wink. Good Friday is a "silent" public holiday in Germany: loud teasers on public channels can come across as out of place that day.
April
- No public holidays in DE, AT or CH.
- Fri 30 Apr: Walpurgis Night (not a holiday, but a popular motif in German-speaking countries)
Content idea: a quiet month, good for a big shoot day that stocks you up for May and June.
May
- Sat 1 May: Labour Day (DE, AT; CH: some cantons)
- Thu 6 May: Ascension Day (DE, AT, CH), in Germany also Father's Day
- Sun 9 May: Mother's Day (DE, AT, CH). A sensitive theme that fits only a few niches.
- Sun 16 May: Whit Sunday, Mon 17 May: Whit Monday (DE, AT; CH most cantons)
- Thu 27 May: Corpus Christi (DE: BW, BY, HE, NW, RP, SL, plus some municipalities in SN and TH; AT; CH: Catholic cantons)
Lots of long weekends: fans have time, but often also plans for trips. Whether that means more or less activity for you shows in your statistics.
June
- Sun 6 Jun: Father's Day in Switzerland (first Sunday in June, not widely observed)
- Sun 13 Jun: Father's Day in Austria (second Sunday in June)
- Pride Month; in German-speaking countries, the Pride (CSD) season runs on into the summer
July
- No nationwide public holidays in DE, AT or CH.
- Summer holidays start at staggered times depending on the state or canton.
- Pre-produce your holiday content: if you travel yourself, film beforehand. Travel content needs a safety check, because hotels and beaches are recognisable.
August
- Sun 1 Aug: Swiss National Day (CH)
- Sun 8 Aug: Augsburg Peace Festival (city of Augsburg only)
- Sun 15 Aug: Assumption Day (DE: SL and municipalities in BY with a mainly Catholic population; AT; CH: Catholic cantons)
Content idea: summer looks, and in the second half of the month already the shoot for Oktoberfest.
September
- Thu 9 Sep: Jeûne genevois (canton of Geneva)
- Sat 18 Sep to Sun 3 Oct: Oktoberfest in Munich (according to the City of Munich) 1
- Sun 19 Sep: Federal Day of Thanksgiving, Repentance and Prayer (CH); Mon 20 Sep a day off in the canton of Vaud
- Mon 20 Sep: World Children's Day (public holiday in TH)
Content idea: dirndl and traditional dress. No logos or trademarks of festival tents and breweries, no recognisable people in the background. Better to film at home or in a rented location than on the festival grounds.
October
- Sun 3 Oct: German Unity Day (DE) and the last day of Oktoberfest
- Tue 26 Oct: National Day (AT)
- Sun 31 Oct: Halloween, also Reformation Day (public holiday in BB, HB, HH, MV, NI, SN, ST, SH, TH) and the return to winter time
Content idea: costumes and themed sets across several days. Here too, no characters that look underage.
November
- Mon 1 Nov: All Saints' Day (DE: BW, BY, NW, RP, SL; AT; CH: Catholic cantons)
- Thu 11 Nov: the carnival season opens at 11:11 am; also "Singles' Day"
- Wed 17 Nov: Day of Repentance and Prayer (public holiday in SN)
- Sun 21 Nov: Totensonntag (a silent day of remembrance in Germany)
- Fri 26 Nov: Black Friday, Mon 29 Nov: Cyber Monday
- Sun 28 Nov: First Sunday of Advent
Content idea: bundles and offers for new fans, preparing your Advent calendar. All Saints' Day and Totensonntag are days of remembrance, so restraint on public channels fits.
December
- Wed 1 Dec: Advent calendars start
- Sun 5, 12, 19 Dec: second to fourth Sunday of Advent
- Mon 6 Dec: St Nicholas' Day (DE, AT, CH tradition)
- Wed 8 Dec: Immaculate Conception (AT; CH: Catholic cantons)
- Fri 24 Dec: Christmas Eve (not a public holiday, but many people are off)
- Sat 25 Dec: Christmas Day, Sun 26 Dec: St Stephen's Day (second day of Christmas) (DE, AT; CH most cantons)
- Fri 31 Dec: New Year's Eve
Content idea: an Advent calendar with 24 small "doors" in your feed or Stories. Don't send 24 paid mass messages for it: one tool vendor recommends no more than two to three a week 11; more in Is the subscription dead? PPV and messages.
How do you plan sales like Black Friday properly?
With offers for new fans, not with permanently lower prices for everyone. That is the agency consensus, and it matches a rule in the OnlyFans terms of service: if you later raise your subscription price, existing subscriptions do not automatically renew at the new price 10. If you cut your price permanently in November and raise it again in January, you risk losing existing fans.
Better options:
- time-limited trials or discount links for new fans, with one link per channel, so you can see what works,
- subscription bundles over three, six or twelve months for fans who are already convinced,
- a clear end date that you actually keep.
If you sell long bundles, you have to deliver for the whole term. Details are in OnlyFans pricing.
Template: when do you need to film in 2027?
This table counts back about four weeks from each major occasion. It is a guide, not a must.
| Occasion | Date 2027 | Film by |
|---|---|---|
| New Year | 1 Jan | early December 2026 |
| Carnival / Fasching | 4 to 9 Feb | around 7 Jan |
| Valentine's Day | 14 Feb | around 17 Jan |
| Easter | 28 Mar | around 28 Feb |
| Summer and holidays | from late June | early June |
| Oktoberfest | 18 Sep to 3 Oct | around 21 Aug |
| Halloween | 31 Oct | around 3 Oct |
| Black Friday | 26 Nov | around 29 Oct (plan the offer) |
| Advent and St Nicholas | 1 to 24 Dec | around 3 Nov |
| Christmas and New Year's Eve | 24 to 31 Dec | around 26 Nov |
And this is how you plan each month. Copy the table into a spreadsheet and add one row per week:
| Week | Occasion | Shoot day | Feed posts | PPV / messages | Teaser (channel) | Offer | Result afterwards |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | |||||||
| Week 2 |

All answers as a list
Do I have to post something for every occasion?
No. Pick the occasions that suit you and your niche. Three or four well-prepared campaigns a year are worth more than twenty rushed ones.
Should I follow my own holidays or my fans'?
Your fans'. Most paying fans on OnlyFans live outside Germany, Austria and Switzerland, so check in your statistics where yours come from and add their main holidays to your calendar too.
What do I do in months without an occasion?
Build up stock, review, and take breaks. Quiet months like April or July are good for bigger shoot days and for days off without a guilty conscience.
How up to date is this calendar?
As of October 2026. Public holidays follow fixed rules, but individual dates such as Fasnacht or school holidays can change. Check the official date before big campaigns. We update the calendar every year.
