What we have and have not verified (please read first): We have not yet been able to read the new wording of the OnlyFans terms of service ourselves. onlyfans.com and archived copies could not be retrieved for our research. Everything described here as "new" comes from two secondary sources: a news report by the Riverfront Times 1 and a summary by the tool vendor Supercreator, which itself sells software to creators and agencies 2. Where both agree, the statement is probably right, but it is not confirmed. Please check the wording yourself in your logged-in OnlyFans account. We will update this article as soon as we have read the original text.
What changes in the OnlyFans terms of service on November 1, 2026?
Based on the reports so far, the balance of power on suspensions shifts most: OnlyFans gets more room to step in earlier. On top of that come clearer rules on data, tools and AI, plus a few clarifications on payments 12.
The overview, with what each statement rests on:
| Topic | What reports say is new | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Suspension and withholding | Already for a possible breach, no longer only for serious or repeated ones | 1, 2 |
| Further grounds for suspension | Conduct that could cause OnlyFans losses or reputational harm; requested information not supplied in time | 2 only |
| Notification | For many changes, only "reasonable efforts" to inform you | 1, 2 |
| Disputing decisions | Objection within six months, in writing | 2 only |
| Tools | Ban on tools that collect data from content or chats or bypass access controls | 1, 2 |
| AI training | Your content may not be used to train AI | 1, 2 |
| AI content | Only allowed if it recognizably shows you as the verified creator and is labeled (e.g. #ai) | 2, similar already in the 2024 version 3 |
| Agencies and helpers | Explicitly mentioned: creators may work with third parties who help manage the account and fan contact | 2 only |
| Advertising | Paid partnerships and affiliate links must be labeled (#ad or similar) | 2 only |
| Payouts | Bank details can be matched against identity verification; currency conversion fees are named explicitly | 2 only |
Everything marked "2 only" comes from a single source with its own business interest. Treat those points as a pointer to where you should read the original, not as fact.
Can OnlyFans now suspend your account on suspicion alone?
According to both sources, yes: the new wording lets OnlyFans act if you have breached the terms or may have breached them 12. The August 2024 version already allowed OnlyFans to suspend accounts, pause payments and withhold earnings while a breach was being investigated 3. So what is new is not the power itself but the lower threshold.
What that means in practice:
- Suspicion can be enough. For example a report from a fan, a piece of content an automated filter misclassifies, or a chargeback that stands out.
- A warning is not guaranteed. According to Supercreator, a suspension can come without prior warning, but with a notice and a reason 2.
- Not every possible breach leads to a suspension. Supercreator points this out too 2. The wording gives OnlyFans room to act; it is not an announcement of mass bans.
Above all, this means for you: the money in your OnlyFans balance is not safe until it is in your bank account. What you can do if you are suspended is covered in OnlyFans account banned, hacked or payout frozen.
What does the tool ban mean for you and your agency?
If the reports are right, software that automatically reads data from your content or your chats becomes risky 12. That can include:
- CRM tools that store fan profiles, purchase history and chat logs outside OnlyFans
- Browser extensions that read along in chats, analyze them or suggest replies
- Scrapers that download statistics or content automatically
- Tools that bypass access controls, for example to grab content behind the paywall 1
Exactly where the line runs is open. Supercreator argues that a tool which generates replies inside your account is different from one that collects data or trains AI 2. That is a vendor's view of its own product, not an interpretation by OnlyFans.
The key point: towards OnlyFans, you as the account holder are responsible, including for what an agency does in your account 3. According to Supercreator, that stays the same in the new version 2. If your agency uses a tool that breaks the terms, the suspension hits your account.
So ask your agency in writing:
- Which software do you use in my account, and with what access?
- Are chats, fan data or content stored outside OnlyFans, and if so, where?
- Have you checked whether this is compatible with the terms from November 1, 2026?
- Is anything from my account used to train AI?
More on how chat support should work properly in Who is writing to your fans?. We plan a separate article that looks at individual types of tools in detail.
Are agencies and chatters still allowed under the new terms?
Yes, based on everything known so far. According to Supercreator, the new version explicitly mentions that creators may work with third parties who help with the account and fan contact 2.
Allowed does not mean anything goes, though. Responsibility stays with you as the account holder 23. And the new rules on tools and data in particular affect the way many agencies work.
Does OnlyFans allow AI content?
Only with conditions: AI-generated or AI-edited content is reportedly allowed only if it recognizably shows you as the verified creator and is labeled, for example with #ai or #AIGenerated 2. A labeling requirement was already in the 2024 version 3. What is new, according to Supercreator, is that edited and "enhanced" content is explicitly included, not only fully generated content 2.
Agency blogs are circulating further claims: mandatory tags on every piece of AI content, a yearly re-verification by live selfie and a general ban on AI chatbots. We found no official basis for any of them. The vendor SirenCY did not find one either in July 2026 4. Treat these points as rumors until you read them in the original.
What stays the same in the OnlyFans terms?
According to both sources, the cornerstones stay unchanged 12:
- 20% platform fee on every fan payment.
- Termination by OnlyFans with 30 days' notice, with no reason needed.
- Liability cap towards creators: according to Supercreator, the higher of the fees paid and $5,000 2.
- License to your content that you grant OnlyFans, according to Supercreator perpetual and transferable 2.
- A one-year deadline to bring claims against OnlyFans 2.
What if you do not agree with the new terms?
In practice you have two options: you keep using OnlyFans after November 1, 2026, or you stop.
Whether you can challenge individual clauses depends on the law where you live. A lawyer who handles contract or IT law in your country can tell you.
What should you do before November 1?
There is no need to panic, but there are a few things you should get done in the next few weeks:
- Save the wording. Read the email from OnlyFans and the new version in your account. Save the old and the new version as PDFs with the date. That way you can prove later what applied when.
- Check your tools. List every piece of software, every browser extension and every login that works with your account. If anything is unclear, ask the vendor and your agency in writing (questions above).
- Withdraw your earnings regularly. If you leave larger amounts sitting in your OnlyFans balance, more is frozen if you are suspended. More in OnlyFans account banned, hacked or payout frozen.
- Back up your content. Keep your original files outside OnlyFans, safe and encrypted.
- Build your own channels. A newsletter, your own website or a second platform, so that a suspension does not cut your whole connection to your fans. See OnlyFans alternatives.
- Label AI content retroactively if you have AI-edited images without a label in your feed.
- Label advertising if you post paid partnerships or affiliate links 2.
If you work with an agency, check your contract too: does it say who is liable if the agency triggers a suspension by using a prohibited tool?

All answers as a list
Where can I find the new OnlyFans terms of service?
At onlyfans.com/terms and in the email that OnlyFans reportedly sent in early October 2026 1. The best check is in your logged-in account: see which version is displayed there and from when it applies.
Is the platform fee going up?
No. According to both sources it stays at 20% 12. According to Supercreator, currency conversion and processing fees on payouts are now named 2. Creators in Germany, Austria and Switzerland have always carried those, because OnlyFans pays out in US dollars 3.
Can my agency keep chatting for me?
As things stand, yes. According to Supercreator, the new version explicitly mentions working with third parties 2. Tools that collect data from chats are risky, though. Ask your agency which software it uses.
Do I get my money if OnlyFans suspends my account?
That is not guaranteed. Even under the 2024 version, OnlyFans could withhold earnings during an investigation 3, and the new version is said to lower the threshold for that 12. That is why it makes sense to withdraw regularly and keep reserves outside OnlyFans.
Do I now have to label every AI filter?
According to Supercreator, AI-edited and "enhanced" content is included 2. Where the line falls for simple filters is open. When in doubt, label it.
What now?
New terms are no reason to turn everything upside down. They are a good moment to tidy up: who has access, which tools are running, where your money sits, and how you reach your fans if OnlyFans goes down. maevia works with English-speaking creators who live in Germany, Austria or Switzerland and write native-level English.
