What's the difference between an OnlyFans agency and OnlyFans software?

Software like Infloww is a tool you operate yourself. An agency provides people who take over chatting, strategy and reach for you, in exchange for a commission.

OnlyFans software, often called a CRM (customer relationship management, basically a card file on your fans), sits between you and your account. It pulls messages into one inbox, stores notes on fans, sends automated messages and shows you stats. In 2024, Reuters described how chatters used Infloww to keep track of each fan's job, pets and purchase history 1.

An agency, on the other hand, does the work itself: a team writes to your fans, plans content, sets prices and brings new fans to your profile. Many agencies use these same tools to do it. What an agency takes on in detail is on our page about OnlyFans management.

One thing to keep in mind for the comparison: OnlyFans comes with its own basic tools, such as the Vault media library, mass messages to lists and scheduled posts 6. What those terms mean is explained in our OnlyFans glossary. When you're starting out, that's often enough.

How much does OnlyFans software like Infloww, Supercreator or OnlyMonster cost?

The well-known tools cost between $0 and about $250 per account per month; some also take a share of the revenue their AI generates.

Prices according to the vendors' pricing pages, accessed 13 October 2026:

Tool Price per account per month What sets the price Free trial?
Infloww 2 from $40 (OnlyFans and Fansly) per creator profile Trial available, length not stated
Supercreator 3 $0 (CRM Lite), $15 (CRM Premium), $99 plus 5% of AI-driven sales (Super AI) features, especially AI 14 days on paid plans
OnlyMonster 4 $30 to $250 your revenue over the last 30 days: $30 up to $2,500 in revenue, $250 from $50,000 Trial available, length mostly not stated

Three things stand out:

What does an OnlyFans agency cost by comparison?

Agencies usually charge a percentage of your revenue instead of a fixed price, and that percentage varies a lot from agency to agency.

A tool costs a fixed amount; an agency costs a share. That's why an agency can be cheaper than expected when revenue is low, and more expensive than any tool when revenue is high. Reuters reviewed more than 160 agencies and found very different terms 1. The full math on gross vs. net is in OnlyFans agency percentage: what's fair? (in German).

Example calculation, not a forecast: your fans pay $1,000 a month. OnlyFans keeps 20% 5, so you have $800 left. The agency rate below is an example value to show the math, not a market rate and not maevia's rate.

Option Monthly cost You keep (without extra revenue) Your working time
OnlyFans' built-in features only $0 $800 everything is on you
Tool from $40 (Infloww) 2 about $40 about $760 almost everything is on you
Agency at an example rate of 40% of net $320 $480 content stays with you; the team handles chatting and planning

The table only shows costs. An agency only pays off once it grows your revenue significantly: at 40% of net, you need about 67% more revenue just to keep the same amount. With a tool, you only have to earn back its fixed price.

At maevia there are no upfront costs and no fixed fee. We work on a commission on revenue, which we set transparently in the first call, and the first month is a no-obligation trial month.

We work with the tool CreatorHero ourselves. Its cost is included in our commission: you don't pay anything extra for it.

What can't software do that an agency can?

Software saves clicks, not hours: writing, planning, selling and building reach are still on you, unless you pay people to do them.

That's the heart of the comparison, because on OnlyFans the money is made in conversations. According to the annual accounts of the operating company, Fenix International, for the 2025 financial year, only about 27% of revenue came from subscriptions and about 73% from messages, PPV (content paid for individually) and tips 7. A tool can give you templates and reminders. Answering at three in the morning, in your own voice, is still something you have to do yourself. How much revenue sits in messages is covered in our article Is the subscription dead? PPV and messages.

What a tool won't do for you:

In the three anonymized case studies on our homepage, most of the revenue came from messages, not subscriptions: for Nora, $29,523 of $32,090; for Clara, $15,484 of $15,800; for Jana, all of it (all names changed). Anonymized; individual results vary; no guarantee of future earnings.

In our intro calls, most creators tell us they spend less than 10 hours a week on messages. If you're producing content on the side, you often can't do more. But fans also write at night and on weekends, and unanswered messages don't sell anything. A tool sorts those messages; someone still has to answer them. That's why our chat team writes for every creator around the clock, seven days a week, in shifts.

Is OnlyFans software even allowed under the new terms?

Not all of it: according to reports, the OnlyFans terms will ban tools that scrape data from chats or content from 1 November 2026. You always remain responsible.

We haven't been able to read the new wording of the terms ourselves yet. But a media report and a summary by the tool vendor Supercreator agree that tools which scrape data from content or chats, or get around access controls, are to be banned 89. Supercreator sells this kind of software itself and argues that tools which only suggest replies inside the account are something different 9. That's a vendor's view, not an interpretation by OnlyFans. All the details are in New OnlyFans terms from 1 November 2026.

Two points apply regardless:

This section is not legal advice. Last checked: 13 October 2026.

Here's how we handle it at maevia: we use CreatorHero. That's where we keep notes on fans and stats, so every shift knows who it's writing to. We checked our setup against the new terms before 1 November 2026. At maevia, no AI ever writes to your fans.

When is software enough, and when is an agency worth it?

Software is enough if you enjoy chatting yourself. An agency is worth it if you're short on time and the extra revenue exceeds its commission.

Your situation Leaning tool Leaning agency
You like writing to fans yourself and have the time yes no
Messages eat your evenings, your sleep or your content time no yes
You're just starting and barely have any fans OnlyFans' built-in features are usually enough only after an honest check
What you're mostly missing is reach no, a tool brings no fans yes, if marketing is included
You want to control every single message yes only with full access to all chats
Your revenue is high and the tool charges by revenue run the numbers on both run the numbers on both

Before you decide, try our 2-minute check: do I need an OnlyFans agency?. The answer is allowed to be "no".

If you're vetting an agency, ask the same questions you'd ask about a tool: which software runs in my account, who writes, and can I read everything? The full list is in How to spot a legit OnlyFans agency.

Is there a middle ground between a tool and an agency?

Yes: many creators use a tool themselves and only get help for specific bottlenecks, such as chatting at set times or growing their reach.

A common middle ground is a tool plus a few freelance chatters. That's cheaper than an agency, but then everything is on you: hiring, training, paying and supervising. Reuters reported that some chatters simply work with the creator's password 1. If you bring help into your account, give each person their own login, never your password. What good chatting looks like and which rules you should set is in Who writes to your fans?.

How does maevia work with tools and its chat team?

At maevia, only humans write to your fans, never AI and never bots; every week you get a report with revenue, fans and results.

Our chat team writes in your voice and within the boundaries you set. More on that on our chatting service page. You can check the weekly report against your own OnlyFans stats, just as we recommend for any agency in Your agency's monthly report.

Frequently asked questions

All answers as a list
Is Infloww free?

No, Infloww doesn't list a free plan on its pricing page. Pricing starts at $40 per creator profile per month, with a trial first (as of 13 October 2026) 2. Among the well-known tools, only Supercreator's basic plan is free, without AI features 3.

Can I use OnlyFans software without an agency?

Yes. The tools bill per account, so a single profile works too 234. But many features, like roles, shift schedules and chatter stats, are built for teams. Use the trial to check whether you really need them.

Can an AI chat with my fans for me?

We haven't found a clear rule on AI chatbots that reply on their own in the OnlyFans terms (August 2024 version); AI-generated content does have to be labeled, though 5. Whether AI writes in your name should always be your decision. At maevia, only humans chat.

Which is cheaper, a tool or an agency?

On pure cost, almost always the tool, because it's a fixed amount. An agency costs a share of your revenue and is only worth it if it grows your revenue significantly. Run both with your own numbers; see OnlyFans agency percentage (in German).

Do I need a tool as a beginner?

Usually not. OnlyFans' built-in features like the Vault, lists and mass messages are enough to get started 6. A tool starts to make sense when you have more messages than you can keep track of. What a realistic start looks like is in The first 90 days.

Am I responsible if my tool breaks the terms?

Yes. Under the OnlyFans terms of service, you as the account holder are responsible for everything that happens on your account 5. So a ban hits your account, even if an agency or a vendor picked the tool.
